Note: Arctic Cat has never released a statement, update, bulletin, or recall for these models. The issue with the original parts appears to come down to bushing material and bushing width. The bushings wear quickly and the narrow width allows the sheaves to wobble and bind, which quickly causes excessive belt heat, melting components and causing the belt to fail. The components in the 3308-006 kit feature a different bushing material and wider bushings. From what we have seen, installing this kit fixes the clutch overheating and belt failure issues in most cases.
