This bolt is used on many different models as a clutch cover or crankcase bolt
It is also used to hold the driven clutch open to assist with changing the belt on some models
This bolt comes in the 2022-2024 Alterra 600 tool kit
Note: A pry bar should be used to spread the clutch sheaves, and then the 8468-655 bolt can be threaded in to hold the sheaves open. When inserting the bolt, make sure it is seated on the flat portion of the movable sheave and not on the rib or the cam shoe boss. The movable sheave may need to be rotated in order to correctly align the bolt with the flat portion of the sheave. (Shown in last 3 pictures)
