A continuously variable transmission (CVT) delivers exceptionally smooth power, especially from a standstill up to about 20 mph. The CVT offers a quiet ride in the mid-speed range and has now been tuned for improved quietness in higher speed ranges, which is typically used during long-distance travel*. Engagement and release feel natural and seamless, maintaining a positive feel until you’re nearly stopped for reassuring engine braking on downhills—while also helping maintain quieter operation at high RPM.

*RIDGE® CREW LIFTED EDITION side x side’s CVT is tuned with shorter gearing in low gear for low-traction conditions.

RIDGE® CREW uses double-wishbone suspension front and rear to help each wheel track over obstacles and keep the chassis composed. With 12.7 inches of wheel travel at both ends, you get more ground clearance and a smoother, more confident ride. Shocks with variable spring rates boost stability when you’re hauling gear and supplies, and a front stabilizer bar* helps keep body roll in check at medium to high speeds.

The roomy RIDGE® CREW cabin comfortably seats up to 6* with front and rear 3-person bench seating and 3-point seatbelts. Contoured seating on the outer 4 seats adds support for cruising and sport riding, while rear passengers enjoy comforts like extra cupholders (6 total), 2 storage nets, and wide-opening rear doors to facilitate entry and exit. An open interior layout also leaves space between the dashboard and seats, making it possible to walk through the cabin.

All RIDGE^® CREW HVAC side x sides include multiple vents with mode selection (defrost, defrost + floor, floor, dash + floor, dash), adjustable fan strength, a choice of fresh or recirculated air, and a powerful HVAC system for fast heating, cooling, and defrosting.

All RIDGE® CREW HVAC side x sides feature a flip-up windshield* with three selectable positions (closed, vented, and fully open). The use of UV- and IR-cut glass helps to reduce heat and direct sun, while the flip-up windshield’s fully open position can also be used as ventilation in place of the HVAC’s air-conditioning while the vehicle is stationary. In the vented position, vehicle operation is possible at speeds up to 50 mph. The windshield wiper assembly is also integrated and moves with the windshield in all open/close positions.

RIDGE^® CREW uses a ladder-type frame with optimized rigidity to create balanced flex for strength and performance. High approach and departure angles aid in clearing more challenging terrain. Large 30-inch tires on 14-inch aluminum wheels boost off-road capability, while RIDGE^® ST HVAC rides on 27-inch tires.

RIDGE® CREW is ready for action when you’ve got mountains to move. A rugged cargo bed (approx. 35-in x 49-in x 13-in) hauls up to 1,000 pounds, and the flat design enables loading from three sides. The RIDGE® CREW PLATINUM SPORT HVAC is equipped with a new functionally styled cargo bed that is approximately 35-in x 42-in x 12-in whereas the RIDGE® CREW LIFTED EDITION measures approximately 28-in x 42-in x 12-in, both with built-in lidded storage compartments. Add a 2,500-pound towing capacity and a standard 2-inch hitch receiver, and you’re ready for everything from workday to weekend. All RIDGE CREW models (except for standard RIDGE CREW and RIDGE® CREW ST HVAC) are also equipped with a 4,500-lb winch with a 50-ft synthetic rope.

Storage space abounds. Multiple covered compartments and a center console in the dashboard provide space for small items and easy-access storage. More storage space is available beneath passenger seats.

Keep 30-oz drinks secure with 6 cupholders—2 on each side of the dashboard, plus 2 more when you fold down the front and rear center consoles.

Charge on the go with a DC socket in the dashboard and 2 USB ports inside the lidded storage above the glove box, and another DC socket in the rear.

Tuned to deliver an impressive 116 horsepower¹ and 73.8 lb-ft (100 Nm) of torque*, the high-performance in-line 4-cylinder engine delivers controllable and smooth power instantly and keeps cabin vibration to a minimum. The engine is fully rubber-mounted to further tune out vibration.

RIDGE^®  CREW features 3 unique power modes, letting you tailor power delivery to your driving style and current conditions.

- Work mode engages a milder throttle response for enhanced low-speed control, ideal for towing and hauling.

- Sport mode offers a sharper, more linear response for a more direct feel between the gas pedal and engine.

- Normal mode strikes a balance between Work and Sport mode, with smooth, predictable response as you roll into the throttle.

RIDGE® CREW features snorkel-style intake routing for the engine and CVT under the hood to minimize dust and water ingestion. A high-quality Donaldson air filter exhibits excellent dust-collection to help keep debris out of the engine. Out back, rear-facing exhaust ports direct heat away from the cabin, while a dual-wall heat shield adds another layer of thermal protection.

Complementing sporty and tough styling, the sleek exterior includes painted fenders and all-LED lighting. Up front, line-type LED position lamps, LED accent lights*, a bold aluminum Kawasaki emblem in the grille, and a durable steel front bumper give it a fierce, unmistakable look. Roof and doors are standard on all RIDGE® CREW models, giving you the protection from the elements that you’d expect from a premium side x side. Doors include both exterior and interior handles, and on full-cab models, electric power windows.

Built-in smartphone connectivity enables riders to connect to RIDGE® CREW wirelessly, and with RIDEOLOGY THE APP POWERSPORTS^†, riders get vehicle information directly from the instrument panel.

In both the RIDGE® CREW PLATINUM RANCH HVAC and RIDGE® CREW PLATINUM SPORT HVAC side x sides, an 8-in Garmin Tread® 2 with AM/FM radio and wireless Apple CarPlay comes standard. It also features group ride radio and a 4-speaker audio system. The navigation system is built into the center console, giving the dash a sleek and seamless appearance.

Also standard on both RIDGE® CREW PLATINUM RANCH HVAC and RIDGE® CREW PLATINUM SPORT HVAC side x sides and available as an accessory on all other RIDGE® CREW models, are front and rearview cameras. With the rearview camera equipped, shifting into Reverse automatically switches the 8-in screen to show the view behind you.
