For years Speedwerx has worked very hard to set a new standard in performance clutch kits utilizing titanium springs. The springs and complete clutch kits worked perfectly but the price was hard to swallow due to the steep cost of titanium. To address the cost issue Speedwerx came up with a new spring material called H5 Alloy. The new H5 Alloy has a lot of the same characteristics as a titanium spring (with the exception of the weight loss) but at a fraction of the cost. These springs may be new to the consumer market, but Speedwerx has been testing these parts for over 4 years now!
Kit comes with Speedwerx Adjustable Machined Weights pre-set and ready for install, an Adjustable Weight Kit for fine tuning, H5 Alloy Primary and Secondary springs, and a Primary Spring Cup Adaptor. This kit offers improved throttle response, acceleration, better backshift and 1-2 mph in top speed. Clutch rpm engagement is raised slightly to about 3800-4200 rpm, optimum operating rpm is same as stock- 8100-8200.
